Plot Summary:
The Oblongs is an American animated television series aimed at teenagers and adults. It is loosely based on a series of characters introduced in creator Angus Oblong's picture book entitled Creepy Susie and 13 Other Tragic Tales for Troubled Children. The TV series was produced by Jobsite Productions and Mohawk Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, and the theme song for the show was composed and performed by They Might Be Giants. The Oblongs aired on The WB from April 1, 2001 until May 20, 2001 and then aired on Adult Swim from August 25, 2002 to October 20, 2002, with a total of thirteen episodes. There has been mention of a potential series revival with new episodes on Adult Swim, however, no other information has been announced. All thirteen episodes of The Oblongs were released on DVD on October 4, 2005.

Mission Hill is an American animated television series that ran on The WB from September 24, 1999, to July 16, 2000, and on Adult Swim from July 14 to August 11, 2002. Although 18 episodes were planned, only 13 episodes were produced. The show was put on hiatus by the WB Network after two episodes due to poor ratings. Home Movies is an American animated television sitcom that was originally broadcast from April 26, 1999 to April 4, 2004. Brendon Small is the creator, head writer and lead musician of Home Movies. Jon Benjamin, Melissa Bardin Galsky and Janine Ditullio also lent their voices to the show. The plot surrounds eight-year-old Brendon, who makes films with his friends Melissa Robbins and Jason Penopolis in his spare time. He lives with his divorced mother, Paula, and his baby sister, Josie. He is also friends with his alcoholic, short-tempered soccer coach, John McGuirk. Home Movies developed a cult following during its run, and is still considered a cult show to this day. Home Movies was produced by Soup2Nuts, and originally aired on UPN, but the network cancelled the series after 5 episodes. Cartoon Network, seeing potential for the series, purchased the rights to it, and aired it as the first program on their nighttime adult-oriented Adult Swim block on the day of the block's launch on September 2, 2001. As part of Adult Swim, it finished the first season of 13 episodes and was picked up for three additional 13 episode seasons. Creator Small would later go on to create the Adult Swim animated series Metalocalypse and co-creator Bouchard would go on to create the animated Bob's Burgers for the Fox network.
