Plot Summary:
Sheena is an American action-adventure/fantasy television series which was produced for first-run syndication from 2000 to 2002. Based upon the comic book character Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, which previously spawned a popular 1950s TV series of the same title, the 2000s series updated the character to the 21st century. There were two seasons, containing 22 and 13 episodes. It starred Gena Lee Nolin and John Allen Nelson and was developed for television by Douglas Schwartz and Steven L. Sears. In this version Sheena was given the mystical ability to transform into almost any jungle animal. Several episodes from the first season are available to view for free in Minisode format on Crackle, as well as on Hulu. Sheena's parents were archaeologists who died in the jungle when she was about six years old, leaving their daughter Shirley Hamilton. She was taken in by Kali, a local Shamaness of a tribe who brought her up, and five years ago she was taught how to morph into animals and birds, acquiring their abilities, even flight. Further, she became a mythical creature called "The Darachna" who relies on people' fear of the unknown. For this she covers herself in a dark liquid mud which allows her to be largely unseen in the low light of the jungle, and with more than normal strength, agility and speed, and armed with a pair of gloves with bone claws, she is a formidable one woman fighting force. She does kill sometimes.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World is a syndicated television series loosely based on the 1912 novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Lost World. Premiered in the fall of 1999, it ran for three seasons before it was cancelled on a cliffhanger in 2002 after funding for a fourth season fell through. To date, the cliffhanger remains unresolved. All three seasons were released in DVD box sets through 2004. Wonder Woman is an American television series based on the DC Comics comic book superheroine of the same name. Starring Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince and Lyle Waggoner as Steve Trevor (both Sr. & Jr.), the show originally aired from 1975 to 1979. The series was first introduced to audiences in 1975 with a TV movie (the pilot) as "The New, Original Wonder Woman." Two subsequent "specials" followed, which would be the next two episodes in the series' run ("Wonder Woman Meets Baroness Von Gunther" & "Fausta, The Nazi Wonder Woman"). ABC ordered the remaining 10 episodes to finish out what would be season one. ABC canceled the show after one season, but CBS picked it up for seasons 2 and 3. Revamped to modern day 1977, the show began season 2 retitled "The New Adventures of Wonder Woman," and showcased Diana returning to the U.S. 35 years after she'd first left Paradise Island. Lynda's Wonder Woman costume was altered a bit by original designer Donfeld, Diana would now be employed by the I.A.D.C. (Inter-Agency Defense Command), and her boss would be the son of Steve Trevor, Sr., from Diana's first foray to the U.S. in 1942. The show was canceled in 1979, the last true episode being "The Man Who Could Not Die." This episode began with Diana moving into a new house in L.A. (working at the west coast headquarters of the I.A.D.C.), Lyle Waggoner having left the show altogether (and out of the opening credits). Often aired out of order, though, the show's last two episodes (including Waggoner) are sometimes run as "The Phantom of the Roller Coaster" Parts 1 & 2.

According to Top Cow editor Matt Hawkins the Witchblade TV series was cancelled because the lead actress Yancy Butler was an alcoholic and went into rehab – it was and remains the highest rated TV series to be cancelled.

Relic Hunter is an anglophone Canadian television series, starring Tia Carrere and Christien Anholt. Actress Lindy Booth also starred for the first two seasons; Tanja Reichert replaced her for the third. It was inspired by the success of the video game Tomb Raider. The series was shot in the Toronto area, explaining Carrere's frequent attendance in courtside seats at Toronto Raptors games during the time.
