Plot Summary:
The story centers around an air-headed crybaby, named Usagi, and her friends Ami, Rei, Makato, and Minako. Using special powers, they can transform into Sailor Solders. They become Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus respectfully. They fight for love and justice against the evil minions of The Dark Kingdom. To help them in their quest, they heed the advice of two talking cats, Luna and Artemis, and also the mysterious Tuxedo Mask.

Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders is an American fantasy themed cartoon television series produced by Bohbot Productions and Hasbro with association with Hong Ying Animation in 1995. Each episode was constructed as an animated minimusical, aimed at children aged four and older. Internationally syndicated by Bohbot Entertainment, the international version has the title character renamed to Starla. There is a special emphasis on the "power of friendship", which enables the titular Jewel Riders, the three adolescent girl defenders of this enchanted kingdom, to overcome their adversaries. The show's action is set in the legendary island of Avalon, here portrayed as a fairy tale style utopia that keeps its magical energies in check with the aid of the seven royal Crown Jewels. The plot follows the quest of Avalon's young princess Gwenevere and her friends Fallon and Tamara to secure the scattered enchanted jewels, stop the evil Lady Kale from taking over the kingdom, restore harmony in magic and bring their mentor Merlin home. In the second season, the Jewel Riders receive more powers and new costumes; a new villain, Morgana, is also introduced in addition to the returning Kale, as is a new set of magical jewels to find. In the original version of the show, the title character has her name similar with Arthur's wife, Guinevere; other Arthurian characters in the show include Merlin and Lady of the Lake.

This End Up! (1992)
Plot Summary:
Tenchi Masaki is a normal high school student in Japan, who spends the summers doing chores around his grandfather's family shrine. One day, Tenchi manages to steal the key to a mysterious cave where an oni (Japanese demon) is said to have been sealed away by his ancester Yoshou, whose sword still stands guard over it. When he enters this cave, he finds that, much to his surprise, the legend is indeed true when the oni's dessicated skeletal form ("mira"--Japanese mummy) comes to life and attacks him. Tenchi flees the cave in a panic, and later returns to high school, taking the hilt--seemingly all that remains of the ancestral sword--with him. At school, Tenchi is again attacked by the oni, whose name is Ryouko, who has now completely revived herself. Tenchi manages to defeat her with the sword's help, but this is only the beginning of a hilarious Japanese romantic comedy OAV (Original Animation Video, the Japanese equivalent of American made-for-video movies) series which has spawned.

Earth is a beautiful planet...rich in natural resources and home to millions of living species. However, over the years 2,500 of these species have become extinct. The original Pretty Cure series, directed by Daisuke Nishio aired on TV Asahi between February 1, 2004 and January 30, 2005. It is the only Pretty Cure series to date to have received an English-language version, which aired in Canada from March 2009. A direct sequel, Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart, or simply Max Heart, aired in Japan between February 6, 2005 and January 29, 2006. Two Max Heart movies were released on April 16, 2005 and December 10, 2005 respectively. The theme of the series revolves around Yin and Yang, which explains the relationship between Nagisa and Honoka trying to work together as Pretty Cures.
