Plot Summary:
Leo is the lion king of the jungle, but unfortunately he doesn't know well what a king's job is. He believes it is his right to do as he pleases, even if it means disrupting the peace of others or being plain rude to them, as a king, Leo thinks everyone should look out for his well-being and comfort. One day, Leo meets a lion cub named Tooey whose mother has been recently taken away and who comes to Leo for help, being as selfish as he is, Leo turns the young lion away. However, after several different adventures, Leo learns what his place as a king is and how he must behave and treat the creatures who have almost lost all faith in him. Leo rallies the jungle animals to the rescue, and in the epilogue, the narrator Michael Donovan says that Leo asked Tooey's mother to be his queen, and the cub himself grew into a strong young lion, now called Leo II and one day he would be the Jungle King.

Maple Town, known as Maple Town Stories in Japan is a 1986 anime series created by Chifude Asakura and directed by Junichi Sato. The series is animated by Toei Animation, consisting of 52 half-hour episodes, which aired on TV Asahi in Japan from January 19, 1986 to January 11, 1987. It focuses on the adventures of Patty Rabbit, Bobby Bear, and their families, in a small utopian anthropomorphic city named Maple Town. The series gave way to a 50-episode sequel, New Maple Town Stories: Palm Town Chapter, which made Patty Rabbit the only ongoing member from both series, although Maple Town's citizens made cameos from time to time. To date, this has not seen an official English release. The program spawned collectible figurines with changeable clothing as well as houses, furniture, and vehicles; Tonka was the licensee and manufacturer in the US market. VHS compilations of Maple Town appeared in North America, Europe and Japan during the late 1980s and early 1990s. As of 2009, official DVDs of the show have only surfaced in Spain and Hungary, with no release plans announced for other territories.

Plot Summary:
Superbook, also known as Animated Parent and Child Theatre, is an anime television series initially produced by Tatsunoko Productions in Japan in conjunction with the Christian Broadcasting Network in the United States and more recently solely produced by CBN for global distribution and broadcast. The series chronicled the events of the Bible's Old and New Testaments in its 52 episode run. The first 26 episodes aired from October 1, 1981 to March 29, 1982. Seabert is an animated television series from 1985. It was created by BZZ films in Paris and originally aired in French before being translated into different languages around the world. In the United States, the show aired on HBO starting in 1987. There were 26 episodes. The author is Marc Tortarolo for the theme, Philippe Marin for the design and Jacques Morel and Eric Turlot for the stories. Seabert was about a boy named Tommy, an Inuit girl named Aura, and their "pet" whitecoat seal Seabert. After Seabert's parents are killed by hunters, the three banded together. They go on adventures in which they encounter more hunters and poachers and save various animals from harm. The production for the series was handled by Mill Valley Animation, on a contract from Sepp, SA International, Brussels, the noted production house which also featured animation series and properties including the Smurfs, Snorks and Foofur. Jerry Smith, owner of Mill Valley Animation was also responsible for many of the below the line fulfillment needs of many Hanna-Barbera, Ruby Spears and some DIC Animation series.
